Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three are gathered

Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there..."

First women’s group devotional today and it was so good! What a great way to set the tone for tomorrow’s service, reading God’s word and pouring into each other.

Todays verse was: 1 Peter 3:3-4

3 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. 4 Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.

For the longest time I focused a lot on the outward beauty of things. Looking back, I can see why I felt so unfulfilled in a lot of areas in my life. The more I searched for God, the more I realized that there’s so much more than what’s on the outside. See, God was looking for a different type of beauty. He was after my heart. My willingness. My yes. Since then, He has truly transformed my life and has given me a beauty that will keep me youthful even when I’m gray and old 👵🏽

So today, I want to focus on beauty that’s within. Beauty that is “unfading” and one that is of great worth in God’s sight. A women with a gentle heart 🤍 A women that lifts others, that is kind & compassionate, and one that values herself and honors her husband 🤍

I believe that God will do something amazing with this group and I can’t wait to see it grow! If you’d like to be apart of the next one, reach out and I can’t wait to connect.
